Social complexity and a living process of inquiry
The modern obsession with knowledge (what it is, how it is justified) ignores the underlying process of understanding (how understanding forms from experience, and from knowledge, and how understanding progresses over time).
Differences across generations - not reflected by changes in societal infrastructure
Some of us have been adapting to a more complex world; with different worldviews, different generations and unprecedented crises all manifest together.
Metamodern - Some have embraced uncertainty, the process of inquiry, and progress in understand complexity.
Modern - Others have remained unaware and their understanding remained static. Lacking self-awareness of their own partiality, nor understanding that understanding is a process.
Millennials - a generation have grown up without guidance within complexity; shamed and brutalised by mutually contradictory, partial modern perspectives. Uncertainty, chaos, and epistemic anarchy was your training ground. Your whole lives have been the struggle between ideologies, and an emergent process of inquiry; a living process towards becoming more complex and self-aware; decentralised dividuals made of different parts, decentralised epistemic authorities unto yourself, more embodied and self-aware. A generational parallel process of inquiry.
You have already become more complex dividuals. All you lack is collective coherence. A necessary re-integration to then become a complex collective; greater than the sum of our dividual parts.
Metamodernity is a self-reflective stage in an ongoing process; rejecting modernity, embracing complexity, becoming more conscious, becoming more collectively self-aware, and conscious of the failings, and unsustainability of modernity.
Leaders no longer fit for purpose
We are being led by those have failed to adapt to twofold changes in the environment (societal and climate), and lack the awareness to realise it. These simplistic modern thinkers, who failed to solve the problems they themselves created, are leading us all to extinction.
It is time to bring consciousness to the historical process we have lived through.
Fortunately, the problems now manifest in culture:
partial modern perspectives
dogmatic intransigence.
a failure to understand complexity
a failure to understand (or embrace) the process of understanding
the tendency to divide us into parts
are represented in microcosm within philosophy.
The fight for the future can be won with a higher order of revolution; a new paradigm of philosophy, of a higher order of complexity.
Philosophy, as a process of understanding; methodologically complex, yet speaks to lived experience in ordinary language and makes sense of complexity. Necessary to:
understand ourselves collectively,
to understand the historical process we have lived through,
construct a coherent vision of a better future and understand the process by which we realise it.
a necessary, and very public, lesson in humility; to prove to insufficiency of the simplistic modern thinking of the old paradigm who still lead us.
Modernity as the age of blind progress, rational stupidity, collective unconsciousness, lack of self-awareness, and narcissistic love of egocentrism.
A living process of inquiry
We have lived through a living process of inquiry, progressively becoming more coherent, more self-aware and more complex; an evolutionary process progressing towards .
We have lived through an evolutionary process; collectively self-conscious, a process of becoming more coherent, progressing towards an emergent understanding of the process we have lived through; towards becoming collectively conscious.
To the dividuated complex parts of metamodern generation, it is time to reassemble; to re-integrate our divided parts (both within and between us), become a complex, collective whole, and a coherent force for transformation.
How? Philosophy, not of individual self-knowledge, but collective self-understanding. Anti-Philosophy as an antidote to modern Philosophy; not an argument to convince, but a process of understanding: to make more coherent sense of what we already know.
The future is either higher order evolution or natural self-selection; conscious or unconscious; apotheosis or apoptosis. The choice of which is, collectively, up to us.
This project
This is my attempt to help us all become conscious of the process, so we can then bring consciousness to the collective, and bring consciousness to the ongoing process.
The goal: once you understand the process, you can simultaneously :
become more consciousness of your own process, gain greater agency, and bring purpose and direction to your own process of inquiry
Recognise yourself as unique, dividual part of a more complex collective whole.
The only question: At what stage do you want to be part?
Retrospectively, after the fact of its future emergence, or can you preemptively sense it? As an extrapolation forward of your lived experience thus far, the process you have lived through, and a sense of its momentum?
Do you want to help make it manifest and emerge into collective consciousness?
This is my attempt to help you understand; and I ask, with humility and earnestness, for your help to communicate it further, and help to co-produce it.

Progress will only happen when we understand the history we have been living through.
The experience of ourselves collectively; the history we have been living through and our experience over time.
Experience of a higher order complexity, requires a higher order complexity understanding, to make more complex sense. This is what we have been striving for; through our individual explorations, inquiry and experiments in lived experience.
To understand how to progress, we must understand the process already experienced, and understanding the process, we can realise its future trajectory.
Then we must bring consciousness to the process, make manifest so it can emerge into collective consciousness.
A signal that resonates, and amplifies, to be heard above the noise, and brings coherence to our dividuated parts, make manifest our collective potential, and become a coherent, complex, collective force for transformation.
To help the world become more conscious, and transform the modern hell we have created.
This is what we’ve been striving for; the time is drawing near.
I know we can’t quite conceive it yet, but I know that you can feel it.
The question remains do you want to be part of making it manifest, its deliverance into collective consciousness, and help make the world more conscious?
Or do you want to wait for it to happen?

It is not knowledge, its production, description, and justification that is important. This is the error of modernity.
It is understanding; the process by which understanding forms from experience, how progress is made, and complexity of understanding. The same process by which increasing complex, conscious self emerges.
Knowledge is static, whereas understanding is progressive.
Yet, to make coherent sense of a more complex world, we require a more complex understanding.
Yet, understanding comes only in retrospect; after experience has been had, and only after time, when the process of understanding is complete.
We have all experienced a more complex world, we have lived a process of inquiry; becoming more self-reflective, more self-aware, more understanding and more conscious. It is time to make our collective understanding manifest, and become a more understanding collective.

Collective Progress will take a Collective to Achieve
The world may have made us cynical; yet through hardship we have endured, rejected old authority, shaken off addictions, refuse to exploited, and become our own authority in making meaning.
Yet, we have been divided, fragmented, and dividuated in the process; if we are to make progress, it will take a collective force for transformation to help us recohere as a higher order complexity collective:
A collective of individuals as coherent parts of a more complex whole; able to achieve more than the sum of our individual efforts alone.

We’ve lived through history without a guide, pioneered in new digital terrains, navigated epistemic landscapes without borders or artificial boundaries, explored the world of lived experience, and experimented in new ways of being.
All along we’ve been brutalised by the modern world, shamed into self-consciousness, becoming self-reflective, discovering the means of making sense, and rejecting the projected authority of modernity, and becoming our own master of sensemaking .
This is a process of us as individuals becoming an ever more conscious collective.
It is time to make consciousness manifest in collective consciousness, bring consciousness to the process we have been living through, to bring coherence to our dividuated parts, make manifest our immanent potential, and become a coherent force of transformation.
We’ve already done the hardest part; our innocence lost, and humanity rediscovered. Yet, experience has perhaps made us cynical in the process; a distrust of claims to authority.

Project Origins
This project is the product of immersive inquiry into experience, application of my scientific training to lived experience, and a life of experimental inquiry. It is the product of embracing radical uncertainty, trial and error inquiry, finding patterns in my personal history, in lived experience, in different cultures, in philosophy, in science, online, and now manifest in culture.
Then the process to make sense of them, make my understanding coherent, construct a coherent narrative to explain them, and make it manifest in written form.
This is my ongoing attempt to synthesise a coherent understanding from the patterns of experience, produce a coherent philosophy to explain them, and present it such that it helps identify patterns in our shared historical experience and make coherent sense of them.
A living process of inquiry, a process of understanding, and progress towards understanding the process of understanding, understanding the historical process we have lived through, and understanding how to then communicate understanding.
Understanding comes only after experience, the intention to understand it, and emergent when the process is complete. Understanding only comes in retrospect.
This is what this process has been building towards:
Philosophy, not as knowledge or as argument, but as a process of understanding:
maieutic, metanoia, metamorphosikos, metavasi
Midwifing understanding, Spiritual awakening, Transformation, Transition.
